New Strategic Partnership Announcement

Compliance Education Institute and Fortrex Technologies, LLC partner to deliver comprehensive services

May 1, 2019 – Furthering their dedication to provide comprehensive third party risk management (TPRM) services, Compliance Education Institute and Fortrex Technologies, LLC, are pleased to announce our new strategic partnership.

Compliance Education Institute provides comprehensive, detailed, and practical third party risk management certification courses to a variety of market sectors, demonstrating its strong foundational components that can be leveraged anywhere. Compliance Education Institution’s Certified Regulatory Vendor Program Manager (CRVPM®) designation has become a standard for third party risk managers, auditors, compliance officers, information security officers, vendor relationship owners and many others who own the TPRM program or manage vendor relationships.

Fortrex Technologies offers VendSure®, an enhanced due diligence service. Fortrex provides expert analysis of vendor documentation, including SSAE SOC reports, with focus on 30 industry controls around FFIEC and ISO standards. The resulting VendSure® Report contains easy-to-understand recommendations to assist with risk mitigation activities.

Financial institutions and healthcare service providers are constantly looking to improve their security posture and that of their vendors. It’s no secret that managing a TPRM program requires constant attention to regulatory updates, encouraging employees to complete analyses in a timely manner, and determining what to do to mitigate risk. With this new partnership, TPRM program managers will have the opportunity to improve their skill sets and programs with incisive, focused training and certification while concentrating on the due diligence analysis results and evaluating and executing mitigating actions based on clear recommendations.

“We’re very enthusiastic about the new partnership with Fortrex,” said Mick Kless, founder and CEO of Compliance Education Institute. “Their in-depth documentation analysis and recommendations provide a key support function to a facet of TPRM that is always inundated with work and struggling to keep up. Their deep expertise and timely reporting will provide an outstanding support mechanism for our clients.”

“We are excited about the opportunities this partnership provides our clients to increase their knowledge and obtain an industry standard certification.,” said Bill Schneider, EVP of Risk Management for Fortrex Technologies, LLC. “CEI’s training and certification will improve clients’ TPRM programs, improve their institution’s risk posture, and make each financial institution a stronger part of the economy.”
