J. Michael Edison | CEO

Since co-founding Fortrex Technologies, Mr. Edison has been a key figure in vendor risk management to the financial services community. He is a frequent speaker at financial institution seminars and conferences and has published whitepapers on the subject of vendor risk management.

Douglas C. Ochs | President

Doug Ochs is the co-Founder and President of Fortrex Technologies and is responsible for the sales and marketing operations as well as the internal corporate infrastructure. Mr. Ochs’ extensive background in corporate operations and management also enables him to serve as an implementation consultant to many VendorPoint banking and credit union clients across the country.

Marketing Coordinator

Role: Execute all marketing related goals and their corresponding day-to-day responsibilities. These goals and responsibilities are outlined in an annual Marketing Plan and Budget and then tracked weekly and monthly for the remainder of the year. This role is intended for a junior marketing professional eager to grow within an exciting and challenging new position. 1-3 years of marketing experience is strongly preferred, but not required. This role requires a motivated self-starter with an eagerness to learn new tools and resources that can then be effectively implemented in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
  1. Create and implement the marketing team's annual plan and budget
  2. Track and report on the marketing team's plan, budget and progress to the designated supervisor
  3. Coordinate and manage company rebranding including refreshed website, and refreshed branded assets (e.g., PowerPoint/Word templates, etc…). A working knowledge or willingness to learn simple front-end languages (html, css, jquery) is strongly preferred.
  4. Maintain and manage company website and digital strategy (e.g. SEO/SEM campaigns, social media strategy, etc.)
  5. Update and maintain all first level company communications and messaging (e.g. company description, product and service descriptions, etc.)
  6. Organize and prioritize all requests submitted to Marketing Department (e.g. one-sheets/sell-sheets, white papers, case studies, event-centric marketing collateral, etc.)
  7. Maintain and manage a digital asset library of all marketing collateral that is easily accessible for colleagues (e.g. marketing-specific files)
  8. Evaluate and implement the utilization of an inbound marketing system (e.g. Pardot, Marketo, etc...), which includes creating the strategy and implementing an automated lead generation campaign that filters only qualified leads to the sales team. Also, develop and implement a strategy that effectively involves the company’s CRM (e.g., SalesForce).
    • Create and manage all subsequent email/webinar marketing campaigns
  9. Oversee the execution of marketing and sales specific events by maintaining and managing an annual event calendar
    • Develop collateral and signage/booth theming to support any events if/when necessary.
    • Create and implement a follow-up process that tracks event ROI
